Neck Pain Physiotherapy

Neck pain is a common problem we treat in both active individuals and the general population, often affecting everything from training and sport to work and day-to-day activities. It can come on suddenly or build gradually over time, and is frequently linked to posture, stress, prolonged desk work, previous injury, or stiffness and weakness through the upper back and neck. Symptoms can include localised pain, stiffness, headaches, and sometimes pain referring into the shoulders or upper limbs, all of which can make it difficult to move comfortably or focus on daily tasks. Rather than just focusing on easing the pain, we take the time to understand why your neck pain has developed in the first place. That means looking at how you move, your daily habits, training load, and how your body is coping with these demands. From there, we create a clear, structured treatment plan designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, and build strength and resilience through the neck and upper body. Whether your goal is to get back to training, work comfortably at your desk, or simply move without stiffness and restriction, we’ll support you every step of the way.

Our specialist treatment Includes

Evidence Based research & treatment

We prioritise staying current with the latest evidence-based treatment methods to ensure we provide the highest quality care to our patients.

Education

We emphasise the importance of helping our patients understand their condition, the source of their pain, and the expected timeline for recovery. We also provide clear guidance on the necessary steps for recovery to support you throughout your healing journey with us.

Manual therapy & rehab

Our physiotherapists use specialised manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and restore confidence in your body, preparing you for a personalised rehabilitation plan.

You don't need a lengthy list of exercises to improve; often, just one or two effective exercises are sufficient. We will seamlessly incorporate these into your busy schedule.

Root cause

Neck pain can arise from a variety of causes. Through the history and discovery phase of our assessment, we'll identify the factors contributing to your neck pain and advise on how to prevent it from recurring.

Rather than focusing on just one area, we’ll evaluate your entire body and alignment during the initial assessment to gain a thorough understanding of your condition.
