Frequently asked questions

  • Why should I choose New Move Physio?
What sets us apart is our deep understanding of what patients truly need. We offer pain relief through expert hands-on treatment, identify the root cause of your pain, and provide a clear, simplified roadmap to help you reach your goals. Many of our clients have tried other treatments without success, only to find the solution through our specialized rehab framework. We take a holistic approach, considering everything from muscle co-ordination to your gait and overall body function. We invite you to explore our reviews, where others like you have shared their positive experiences with New Move Physio.
  • Do I need Physiotherapy?
If you’re unsure if Physiotherapy is right for you then don’t hesitate to give us a call and we will happily discuss with you if we feel you will benefit from physiotherapy and the process behind how we can help you.
  • Should I see a Physiotherapist or go for a sports massage?
Our recommendation for any pain is to first consult a physiotherapist. In the initial session, we not only offer relief through expert hands-on treatment but also help you understand the underlying cause of your tightness and pain. This way, you won't need to rely solely on sports massages for pain relief and can choose to have them only if you wish.
  • Should I seek NHS or private physiotherapy?
The NHS often has long waiting lists, and your chances of overcoming pain are typically higher the sooner you seek professional support. Unlike the NHS, we aren’t limited by time constraints, allowing us to offer a more personalized approach to your pain with professional hands-on therapy. To make healthcare more accessible, we also offer evening and weekend appointments.
  • How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of sessions you need can vary based on factors like how long you’ve had the pain, its location, and your end goal. You might only need 1-2 sessions, or in more complex cases, 4-6 sessions. Rest assured, we will be completely transparent and honest in advising you on the best course of action.
